What Drives Cost for Barber Insurance Quotes?

BBI’s self-employed barber insurance is priced at a transparent flat rate. The only factors that affect your final premium cost are the payment plan you choose and any optional coverages you select.

Most barber insurance providers calculate policy costs based on your service menu, location, revenue, and claims history. We do things differently at BBI because we know that instead of guessing at numbers, you’d rather be focusing on delivering fresh fades and sharp trims.

The prices you see on our website are the same you’ll pay at checkout!

FAQs About Barber Insurance Prices

Yes! If you rent a chair or booth as a barber, you need insurance because you’re operating as an individual business. You can be held legally responsible for client injuries at your rented chair — that’s why it’s essential to carry barber insurance to help protect your business from costly claims.

In fact, many shops require proof of insurance before permitting you to rent space.

The industry-preferred coverage for barbers is $2 million per occurrence (claim) and $3 million aggregate (for the entire policy period). BBI’s barber insurance automatically includes these coverage limits in your base policy, so you can trim, shave, and cut with peace of mind.

At a minimum, most barbers need general and professional liability insurance to help cover accidents in their workspace, client injuries, and property damage related to their work. Depending on your setup, you may also need tools and equipment (inland marine), cyber liability, or other optional coverages for more comprehensive protection.
